Lorelei is a one-time character in PollyWorld. She's the ex-fiancée of Polly's father, John Pocket.
Personality[]
Lorelei's character is initially portrayed as kind and caring. However, it is later revealed that she is driven by greed and selfishness, having been with John solely for his wealth. In PollyWorld, she collaborates with Beth to undermine Polly and her friends. Despite her friendly facade towards Polly, she does not wish to raise her. She sees Polly as a threat to her relationship with John and manipulates him into thinking Polly needs more structure and should be sent to boarding school. Her true intention is to eliminate Polly from the picture so she can have John to herself.
Appearance[]
Lorelei's appearance is as striking as her character. Her long, lustrous brown hair and piercing green eyes, akin to her partner in crime, Beth, make her stand out. However, her hair, a darker shade of brown, sets her apart, giving her a unique look. She often dons a white shirt, paired with a short lime green jacket. Her ensemble is further accentuated by a set of matching pearl earrings and a necklace, adding to her visual distinctiveness.
History[]
She used to date Polly's father, John, and then they got engaged and told Polly when she got to PollyWorld. She acted like she genuinely liked Polly when she didn't. When the competition began, Beth went to her for help sabotaging Polly. Lorelei gladly accepted, as they both despised and were jealous of her. During Polly and her friends' musical number, they go to the sound booth where Beth threatens Lorelei that if she doesn't have her team win the contest, Beth will tell John Lorelei's scheme of getting rid of Polly by tricking John into sending her to Boarding school. What they didn't know was that everyone witnessed their confession. John went to confront Lorelei about hearing what she really thought of his daughter and staff and called off the engagement, leaving Lorelei devastated, and she chased after John. It's unclear what happened to Lorelei afterward, but it can be assumed John had Lorelei escorted out of PollyWorld after he called off their engagement.
